Our “Color Your World II” contest has come to a close – and our world was brilliantly colored by all the amazing entries! As always, we were overwhelmed by the abundance of talent and creativity of the artists! Congratulations and thanks to all our winners and entrants.
We are also extremely grateful to the talented Cathy Taylor for being willing to take on the difficult task of selecting the winners for the competition.
“Acting as the juror of other artists’ work is a humbling and difficult task. every artist that endeavors to create a work of art is to be congratulated for their creativity and individual exploration.
The work in both the professional and amateur categories for this particular competition was fabulous making my choices very challenging.
I based my decisions on best use of Citrapapers, compositional elements, and being able to sense the artists hand in the work.
Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy these wonderful works of art.
Happy Creating”

Great use of Citrapapers, pattern repetition, and reflective quality. This artist’s work shows wonderful artistic skill.
This artist masterfully uses CItrapapers to convey landscape and sky. Also like the rhythm and repetition of the trees and fence.
Use of lights and darks very engaging. Loose use of watercolor works well with Citra background.
Magical quality of the town emerging from the Citrapapers.
I love the rhythm of the white shape and dark shapes leading the eye through the composition. Also the reflective quality of the sky and water.

The use of CItrapapers and stenciled Citrapapers in enchanting layers evokes fossils embedded in sediment. Lovely use of contrasting colors. I like the non standard format.
Very successful zig zag composition with the colors leading the eye throughout. Super use of Citrapapers for textural effects.
Love the usaf stenciled Citrapapers as background . Evokes for me the intelligent mind of the crow.
Aptly named, a dreamy quality is achieved with blended Citrapapers. The use of contrasting colors gives this piece a dynamic quality.
The use of Citrapapers in the mosaic style is very successful creating a beautiful, readable portrait.
